Mopar accessories, audio, and electronic accessories installed on a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle by an authorized dealer are covered either by the 12 months/20,000 km Mopar limited warranty, or by the balance of the 3 year/100,000 km basic new vehicle warranty which ever is more favourable to the customer.

Mopar parts sold over the counter or wholesaled are warranted for 12 months from date of sale with the exception of electrical or electronic components which carry no warranty.

Mopar parts installed on a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle by an authorized dealer are warranted for 12 months/20,000km for both parts and labour.

Mopar basic 12 months/20,000 km warranty covers the cost of towing the vehicle to the closest authorized  Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer if the failure is due to a covered Mopar part installed by an authorized dealer.

Mopar gaskets and seals are sold with no warranty

Mopar performance parts carry no warranty.

Any faulty part replaced under warranty becomes the property of Chrysler South Africa.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Mopar Car Batteries
Mopar batteries which are factory fitted to Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles are covered by the vehicle’s basic new vehicle warranty (e.g. 3 year/100,000km for all vehicles sold as of 1 January 2007).

Batteries replaced during the period of the vehicle’s basic new vehicle warranty are covered by the balance of the basic new vehicle warranty, or for 12 months/20,000km whichever is more favourable to the customer, provided they are installed at an authorised Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealership.

Mopar batteries purchased over the counter from one of our Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealers are warranted for 12 months/unlimited kilometres.
